Dr.Jayprakash Narayan

Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan of the Lok Satta Party or JP, as he is widely known, is a Member of the Legislative Assembly and is a former public administrator. He stood second in the 1980 in the Civil Services examination, making it to the IAS. He is well-known for his electoral reforms and he has written columns for many leading dailies. Regarded as an articulate and eloquent speaker, he is sure to lend colour to the array of lectures this year.

 
Governance:
 
1.) Santosh Hegde

He began his career by practising law as an advocate in January 1966 and was designated as senior advocate in May 1984. Hegde was appointed as the Advocate General for the state of Karnataka in February 1984 and held that position till August 1988. He worked as additional Solicitor General of the union of India from December 1989 to November 1990 and was re-appointed as the Solicitor General of India on 25-04-1998. Santosh Hegde was appointed as a Judge of Supreme Court of India on 08-01-1999. He retired as judge of Supreme Court Of India in June 2005. He was appointed as Lokayukta of Karnataka state on 3 August 2006 for a term of five years. Since his retirement he has taken active participation in formulating the Jan Lok Pal bill alongside Anna Hazare.

 
2.) Kanan Dhru

Kanan Dhru is the founder of RFGI. She is a practicing lawyer with a law-graduation from the London School of Economics, United Kingdom. Prior to coming to India, she has briefly worked with the World Health Organisation in Geneva. In India, she has worked with the National Knowledge Commission, a Prime Minister's Advisory Body, New Delhi. She has been an External Consultant with McKinsey & Company, a Visiting Scholar at the Stanford University and been currently associated with the Government of Gujarat on several initiatives.

 
3.) Pronab Mohanty
Mr.Pronab Mohanty is a 1990 batch alumnus from the prestigious Bits Pilani institute (Pilani, Rajasthan), where he completed his B-tech in electrical engineering. Unlike most other engineering graduates of his time Mr. Mohanty chose a career in civil services and became a distinguished IPS officer. Owing to his transparent and swift services, his appointment as D.I.G in the renowned anti-corruption bureau Lok Ayukta of Karnataka was inevitable. He was instrumental in investigating and documenting the report of the involvement of politicians and industrialists in the Bellary Mining Scam. He is currently serving as Joint Commissioner in the Crime Branch Division
 
Healthcare:
 
1.) Dr.Shubnum Singh

Dr.Shubnum Singh is the Chief of Medical Affairs at Max Healthcare Hospitals, Delhi.  She is also a member of the CII Healthcare Sub Committee on PPP Policy for India which is looking into the possibility of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model for the healthcare sector.

 
2.) Bharath Balaraj

Bharath Balaraj is the Founder and Managing Director of Indigo Quotient Labs Private Limited. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, New York and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications from PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore. Prior to Indigo Quotient Labs, Bharath was a research intern at Blue-Highway LLC., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Welch Allyn. While at Blue-Highway, he worked in the Adaptive Intelligence team on the notion of "Spontaneous Interoperability" for heterogeneous medical networks
