1) When and where is the IIT Madras Symposium 2011 happening?
The Symposium will be conducted at the IIT campus in Chennai from 29th September to 2nd October during Shaastra, the annual technical fest of IIT Madras.
2) What is the criterion for eligibility?
All participants must be pursuing their Undergraduate or Post graduate degree in a recognized university.
3) What are the incentives of participating in the IIT Madras Symposium 2011?
The symposium is a wonderful opportunity to network with some of the brightest minds across India as well as leading personalities in the fields of healthcare, finance and governance. Participants also vie for attractive cash prizes and chances to intern at partner organizations.
4) What is the selection procedure for the symposium?
There will be an online preliminary selection round from which finalists will be shortlisted. More details will be put up shortly.

6) Who will be mentoring the participants and giving the keynote lectures?
The speakers and mentors for the Symposium will be leading luminaries from the fields of healthcare, finance and governance. In its earlier editions, personalities like Nachiket Mor, Jayaprakash Narayan, and Dr. Balaji Sampath have graced the IIT Madras Symposium.
7) Could you name some of the partner organizations who have been a part of the symposium over the years?
Some previous partner organizations of the IIT Madras symposium include the World Bank Urban Strategy, TERI, Vestas, FICCI, Quest Alliance, The Agastya International Foundation etc.
